Extruded acrylic sheet production process mainly includes the following steps:

1. **Raw material preparation**:

   - The main raw material is polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), also known as plexiglass.

   - In addition to PMMA, additives and pigments need to be prepared for modification and coloring. The quality and stability of the raw material is important for the subsequent production of acrylic sheets.

   - The quality and stability of the raw material is crucial for the subsequent production process.

2. **Mixing of raw materials**:

   - The PMMA is heated and stirred and mixed with additives and pigments.

   - The purpose of this step is to achieve a certain viscosity and fluidity of the raw material in preparation for the subsequent extrusion molding.

3. **Extrusion molding**:

   - Load the mixed raw materials into the hopper of the extruder.

   - Through the action of heat and pressure, the raw materials will form the desired plate shape under the action of the mold.

   - In this process, the temperature, pressure and extrusion speed need to be strictly controlled to ensure the quality and dimensional accuracy of the extruded sheet.

4. **Cooling curing**:

   - After extrusion molding, the acrylic sheet needs to be cooled and cured to obtain sufficient strength and stability.

   - The cooling method can be natural cooling, or the cooling speed can be accelerated by water cooling or air cooling.

5. **Cutting and trimming**:

   - After cooling and curing, the acrylic extruded sheet needs to be cut and trimmed to achieve the desired size and shape.

   - Cutting and trimming can be done by hand cutting, mechanical cutting or laser cutting.

6. **Surface treatment**:

   - In order to enhance the weather resistance and decorative effect of acrylic sheet, surface treatment is usually required.

   - Common surface treatments include spraying, screen printing, laminating and so on.

7. **Quality control packaging**:

   - QC mainly checks the appearance quality, dimensional accuracy and physical properties of the extruded board and other indicators to ensure that it meets the relevant standards and requirements.

   - Qualified extruded boards can be sold or transported to the construction site after packaging.

The whole production process of extruded acrylic sheet needs strict control and management to ensure product quality and stability. Meanwhile, with the continuous innovation and development of technology, the production process of acrylic sheet is also continuously optimized and improved.
